Artist Bio - Rawan Rihani

Rawan Rihani is a RISD graduate whose artistic passions are manifested through painting and fashion. She has a flair for manipulation, which can be seen in her multimedia paintings. Her Italian and Middle Eastern heritage meld in a unique style reminiscent of ancient art reinterpreted with modern sensitivity and strong romanticism. Often her paintings are associated with concrete poetry. Presently she lives in New York and works as a fashion designer, creating her own original pieces of wearable art.
